She was predeceased by : her parents, Kenneth Black and Mary Black (Wilkey); her husband Robert Richie; her son Daryl Harlon Rafferty; her daughters-in-law, Lori and Sabrina Richie; and her sister Jean Bunting.

She is survived by : her children, Brenda Chellson (Bob) of Campus, Tamela Quinley (Troy) of Odell, Elizabeth, Craig Rafferty (Kelli) of Campus and Jeffery Richie (Stacy) of Dwight; her grandchildren, Kiedra Meece (Craig), Jason Simmons (Kimberly), Shane Cuddy (Shawna), Jamie Horton (Josh), Patrick Rafferty (Ashley), Tanisha St (Luke), Taylor Richie, Sophia Richie, Allison Hausman and Logan Hausman; her sisters, Juanita Cable of Mazon and Linda Oster of Godley; and her half-siblings, Shirley Nelson of Glasgow, Kentucky and Lee Black (Lisa) of Kentucky. She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Campus/Emington Fire Department or a charity of the donor's choice.
