It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Everett Morton (Earlville, Illinois), who passed away on October 19, 2019, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Vardeman Morton and Lela Bell Morton (Hamblin); and his siblings, Earnest, Herbert Gene Morton, Mary Sue Morton and Maggie Lee Knowles.
He is survived by : his wife Donna Chapman; his sister Rose Kessler; his children, Cynthia Clark (James) of Centennial, CO, John Allen, Dean Morton of Sheridan, Janet Harnden of Hennepin, IL and Brian Morton (Shawn) of Yakima, WA; and his grandchildren, David Price, John Everett Morton II, Heather Heinrich (Michael), John Luttrell (Jessica Brown), Andrew, Cody Luttrell and Cynnandra Hilde (Jacob). He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
