She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond J. Loeffelholz and Germaine Loeffelholz (Wiederholt); her husband Richard J. Hilby; her brothers, Cletus and Bernard Loeffelholz; and her in-laws, Earl Hilby, Mary Ethel Martin, Helen Roth, Lillian Tranel and Voletta Pluym.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Brincks (Lyle) of Ossian, IA, Debbie Miller (Pat Wolter) of Hazel Green, WI, Becky Schuckert (Greg) of Durango, IA, Glenn Hilby (Nici) of Menominee, IL and Carolyn Brenke (Christian) of Holy Cross, IA; her grandchildren, Nathan, Christopher (Abby), Amber (Ryan), Josh (Kelsey), Katie (Mark), Zach, Cory, Bella, Nick, Abby, Matt, Gracie, Charlie, Lily (Anthony), Magen and Edward; her great grandchildren, Emma, Mya, Cooper and Kaden; her siblings, Serena Manders (Melvin), Mary Jane Glasker (Jim), James Loeffelholz (Doris) and Isidore Loeffelholz (Janet); and her in-laws, Arlene Budden (Jim), Jane Middendorf (Tony) and Mae Kuhl (Jerry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A rosary was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 9:15 AM at the Nativity BVM Catholic Church (15406 W Creek Valley Rd, East Dubuque, IL 61025). Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:15 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
