It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence J. Fettes Jr. of East Dundee, Illinois, born in Elgin, Illinois, who passed away on May 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Lawrence J. Fettes and Marie A. Fettes; his wife Ruth Ann; and his brothers, John and Eugene.

He is survived by : his sons, Lawrence J. "Trey" Fettes, III and Steven Fettes (Karen); his grandchildren, Logan, Lauren and Luke Fettes; his siblings, James Fettes (Elda Lou), Barbara Brandt (Rodger), Cathy Roberts (Michael), Donna Yurs (Rick) and Susan Johnas (Joe); and his sisters-in-law, Naomi and Marilyn Fettes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
