He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel F. Snider and Maude Snider Sr. (Betts); his wife Phyllis Hiatt; his stepdaughter Kera Kay Takacs; and his sisters, Eileen Weatherford, Florence Frye and Betty Jean Snider.
He is survived by: his children, Dan L. Snider (Kathy) of Alexis, Bill Snider of East Galesburg and Vicki Johnson of Knoxville; his stepdaughters, Debra O'Hearn of Galesburg, Kelly LaHood (David) of Peoria and Lora Adkisson (Todd) of Roseville; and his sister Mary Ovens of Rock Island. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
