We bid farewell to Tramar Wilson-Yancey of East Moline, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 27, 2025 at the age of 16. Tramar touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Mario Steed Yancey; his sister Tanea Yancey; his great-grandparents, Charles Wilson, Iris Hayslett, Charles Hayslett, Richard, Marjorie Hatlett and Glodeen McGowan; his great-great-grandparent Sadie Howard; and his grandmother Barbara McCowan.
He is survived by: his mother Catherine "Betsy" Wilson; his siblings, Tramaine Wilson (Cherrell), Tramarion Wilson-Yancey, Trevelle Teague (Ava), Trevon Teague, Christian Little (Keyyra), De'Vontay Wright, Ciara Little, Kearie Royse, Melshondra Roark, Marionna Yancey, Riajah Yancey, Mariah Holliday, Rionna Yancey, Shacarra Hoskins, DeVontay Wright and D'Savion Wright; and his grandparents, Catherine M. Wilson and Perry Yancey. He is also survived by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (1501 6th Ave, East Moline, IL 61244). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the family.
