He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Sonnemaker and Laverne Sonnemaker (Becker) of Trivoli; his wife Bonnie Colleen Sonnemaker (Steinhauer); and his sister Ellora Edwards. He is survived by: his children, Debra Pruden, Jodi Snedigar (Bob), Richard Sonnemaker (Sharon) and Brian Sonnemaker (Angie); and his siblings, Earl Sonnemaker and Linda Telford. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
A burial will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
