Though Elwood may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Elwood touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the St. Paul Baptist Church (1500 Bond Ave, East St Louis, IL 62205). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 20th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery (2900 Sheridan Ave, St. Louis, MO 63125).
