Oglesby (East Saint Louis, Illinois), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 6, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Oglesby and Leona Oglesby; his siblings, Gwendolyn, Sheila, Antionette, Kenneth and Bernell; and his daughter Sovelette Oglesby.
He is survived by: his wife Rosie; his children, Katrice Asberry (Jonathan) of Swansea, IL, Monica Savage (James) of East St, Twyla Webbe (David) of Dallas, TX, Karla Moody (Anthony) of Midland, GA, Melinda of East St, Avionne Hodges of East St, Ronald Oglesby Jr. (Trudy) of Collinsville, IL, Tremayne Oglesby of Belleville, IL and Broderick Little of East St; his grandchildren, Montez Oglesby, LaKeisha Greenlee, Ashley Asberry, Dominic Oglesby, Ron'Necia Oglesby, Abriel Asberry, Bre'Ona Oglesby, Davin Webbe, Daylan Webbe, Fabian Malloyd, Avery Moody, Shekinah Moody, Bre'Airah Oglesby and Jacob Little; and his sister Deborah McKinney of Washington Park, IL. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
