She was predeceased by : her parents, Ed VanEtten and Ina VanEtten (Bastein); her husband Homer VanMeter; her children, Patti Ratliff and Terry VanMeter; and her siblings, Esther Mosher, Charles and Donald VanEtten.
She is survived by : her daughter Peggy Dierker (Charles) of Easton. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
