It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry D. Handshy of Edwardsville, Illinois, born in Litchfield, Illinois, who passed away on January 6, 2022, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Ralph Elmo and Christine Nolia Handshy (Hans); his son J. D. Handshy; and his siblings, John W., Terry D. Handshy and Marian Ford.

He is survived by : his brother Ralph Eugene "Gene" Handshy of Roxana, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made out to the American Diabetes Association.
