Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint LaVerne leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Eberhart and Margaret Eberhart (Cooper); her husband Alvin H. Linkeman; her son Kenneth H. Linkeman; and her siblings, Eileen Eberhart, Hellen Mennemeyer, Leona Daube, Bill Eberhart, Elmer Eberhart and Harold Eberhart.
She is survived by: her son Dennis Linkeman of Holly Springs, MS; and her sister Irene Linkeman. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Weber & Rodney Funeral Home (304 N Main St, Edwardsville, IL 62025). A graveside service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St. James Cemetery.
