It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Orville C. Wildhaber Jr. of Edwardsville, Illinois, who passed away on February 9, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville E. Wildhaber and Claudine F. Wildhaber; his son Bruce Wildhaber; his great grandchildren, Dylan R. Renko and Wyatt Wildhaber; his brother Robert J. Wildhaber; his father-in-law William Reilson; and his sister-in-law Kay Marie Wildhaber.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Carol Wildhaber of Edwardsville, IL; his children, Gregg C. Wildhaber (Leah) of Marine, IL, Jay C. Wildhaber (Carla) of Highland, IL and Terri L. Edgcomb of Defiance, MO; his grandchildren, Jeremy R. Wildhaber (Sara) of Edwardsville, IL, Jessica Fortenberry (Joseph) of Highland, IL, Jamie R. Renko (Ty) of Highland, IL, Marc W. Wildhaber (Megan) of Columbia, IL and Michael B. Edgcomb (Anna) of Chicago, IL; and his great grandchildren, Cali Renko of Highland, IL, Cole Renko of Highland, IL, Lyla Wildhaber of Edwardsville, IL, Brayden Wildhaber of Columbia, IL, Emmett Wildhaber of Edwardsville, IL, Madilyn Wildhaber of Columbia, IL and Wesley Wildhaber of Columbia, IL..
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM at the Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home - Highland (1501 9th St, Highland, IL 62249). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Elizabeth Catholic Church (120 N Windmill St, Marine, IL 62061-1313).
Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society, St. Elizabeth Catholic Church or Masses.
