It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Stephen B. Aplin of Edwardsville, Illinois, born in Minneapolis, Minnesota, who passed away on December 4, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Sherman Bruce and Donna Marion Aplin (Sweet); and his sister Kathy Childs. He is survived by : his wife Karen Rose Hocks; his children, Melissa Aplin (Scott Clendenen) of Maryville, IL and Warren Aplin of Edwardsville, IL; his granddaughters, Sydney Shimchick, Hailey Shimchick and Olivia Aplin; and his sister Debra Anderson of Chaska, MN. He is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Alzheimer's Association or Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
