She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Stanczyk and Tillie Stanczyk; her husband George; her son Brian Diehl; her sisters, Loretta and Dorothy; and her son-in-law Marty Grant.

She is survived by: her daughters, Nancy Smith (Bret) and Barbara Murphy (Steven); her grandchildren, Brittany Grant, Parker Smith and Bradley Smith; and her sister Phyllis Runge.
