He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvah Cornell and Esther Cornell; his brother Alan "Corky" Cornell; and his daughter Theresa Jean Cornell. He is survived by: his children, Bradley Cornell (Debra) and Elizabeth "Beth" Meredith (Curt); his stepchildren, Shanna, Steven Brewer (Lori) and Scott Brewer; his grandchildren, Jason Cornell (Jaclyn), Noah, Caleb, Liam, Graham, Chris Cornell (Jen), Landon, Logan, Angie Hren (Eric), Madeline Martinez Jr (Arturo), Ricky, Priscilla and Nathaniel; his sister Kathryn Pfeffer; his sister-in-law Diane Cornell; and also Brewer-Valdez. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
He supported any cause that came his way with a donation and had a sleeve of rubber bracelets from various fundraisers for friends, family and strangers alike.
