He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Maxwell and Mary Katherine Kufer (Gibson); his wife Carol Kufer; his nephew Steven Rizner; and his great-niece Stephanie Kufer.
He is survived by: his sons, Todd Kufer and Matthew Kufer (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Alexandra Kufer and Mathias Kufer; his siblings, Judy Rizner (Chuck), John Kufer (Jackie) and Diane Taylor (John); and also Todd. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a community of friends.
