Shirley Melin Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2020, at the age of 89, Shirley Melin (Elburn, Illinois), born in Rosetown, Saskatchewan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Dunn and Jesse Dunn; her children, Shirley, Alanna "Lana" Melin, Keith Melin (Merri) and Sheila Harmon (Dennis); her grandchildren, Jayson Melin (Amy), Scott Melin (Jill), Craig Melin (Lindsey), Jeremy Assell (Sarah) and Ashley Harmon Losic; her great grandchildren, Jaycob Melin, Adeline Melin, Evelyn Melin, Zachary Melin, Audrey Melin, Ethan Assell, Aron Assell, Sadie Belle Losic and Cooper Losic; her siblings, Evelyn Lett and Clifford Dunn; her siblings-in-law, Brenda Tuetken, Sheila Dunn and Wally Epp; her husband Carl; her brother Robert Kingsley Dunn; her son Troy Melin; and her siblings, Stanley Dunn and Margaret Epp. She was also cherished by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Private family services and burial will be held Saturday.In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Shirley's name.
