She was predeceased by: her father Ronald Elbert Okerson; and her siblings, Debra Okerson and Robert Eugene Okerson. She is survived by: her mother Irene Waisanen (Barnes) of Worcester, Massachusetts; her sons, Jonathon Cook of Eldorado and Brandon Cook of Eldorado; her granddaughter Madisyn Carlton of Ridgway; her siblings, Alice "Jean" Alicea (Carlos) of Swainsboro, Georgia, Ronald Okerson of Chicago, Toni Ortega (Tomas) of Marion and Traci Pointer of Hendersonville, Tennessee; and her stepmother Carol Okerson of Marion. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Memorial contributions may be made to Saline County Animal Shelter and envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
