He was predeceased by: his sibling Delma Vargas. He is survived by: his wife Ana M.; his son Carlos Vargas, Jr.; his grandchildren, Carlos Vargas, III and Maria Vargas; and his siblings, Fernando Vargas (Blanca), Maria Martell, Zaida Vargas, Milagros Vargas and Carmen Velez (Adrian). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
