She was predeceased by: her parents, John S. Shales and Martha C. Shales; her husband Erwin A. Ziegelbein; her granddaughter Courtenay Hayworth; and her siblings, Jack Shales and Dorothy Shif.
She is survived by: her daughter Sue Yarbrough (Dan) of Elburn; her grandson Clinton Hayworth (Candance) of Ponce Inlet, FL; and her sister-in-law Marlene Shales of Geneva.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to Calvary Lutheran Church, Alzheimer's Research or the charity of ones choice.
