With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert D. Erickson (Elgin, Illinois), born in Grand Rapids, Minnesota, who passed away on January 31, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Erickson and Thelma Erickson (York); his wife Gladys; and his children, Robert, Randall (Laura), Timothy (Valerie Dobiesz), Susan Suits (Jeffery), Jens and Julie Henderson (Jeffrey). He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to the Robert D. Erickson Endowed Scholarship fund at Judson University to benefit students in Biblical and Theological Studies.
