He was loved and cherished by many people including: his significant other Sharon; his daughters, Kristen and Kelli; his sons-in-law, Neal and Dan; his siblings, Sue Flynn (George) and Steve Slayton (Pat); his pets, Wrigley, Goober, Ashi and Theo; his close friend Jesus; his parents, Herb Slayton and Helen Slayton; his sister Sandy; and his parents-in-law, Everett, Marilyn Burhite, Rick and Mary Burhite. He was also cherished by 6 nephews and 6 nieces.
