Edith left this world on October 3, 2025 at the age of 88, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband Henry John Schillmoeller (Hank); her parents, Willi Wandrach and Käthe Wandrach; and her sisters, Gisela Gregun and Christa Jensen.
She is survived by: her children, Henry (Hank), Joseph (Joe), Renata Carico, Sonja Hickey and Christine Thompson; and her siblings, Willy Wandrach and Käthe Behrendt. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grove Memorial Chapel (1199 S Arlington Heights Rd, Elk Grove Village, IL 60007). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:15 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery (1185 W Algonquin Rd, Palatine, IL 60067).
