He is survived by : his former life partner Marilyn Pasko; his brother Daniel Gols (Roberta); his daughter Valerie Barrett (Robert); his grandchildren, Alex and Brianna; his nephews, Robert, Richard (Robin) and Thomas (Priscilla); and his great-nephew Bennett.
