It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Steven Fren Bentall of Elk Grove Village, Illinois, born in Sioux City, Iowa, who passed away on June 5, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Steven Fren departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Steven Fren. Though Steven Fren may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Bentall and Mary Bentall. He is survived by: his wife Jan Kling Bentall; his daughters, Lauren Guss (Dan) and Lindsey Bentall (Jason Doss); his grandchildren, Elise Guss, Emma Guss and Nolan Doss; and his brother Scott Bentall.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Ahlgrim & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services LTD. (330 W Golf Rd, Schaumburg, IL 60195). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
