With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dale Lee Shaw of Elkville, Illinois, born in Du Quoin, Illinois, who passed away on September 17, 2020 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Gilbert Shaw and Lela M. Shaw (Martin); and his brother Herbie Shaw. He is survived by : his wife Barbara Lee Gunter; his children, Angie Lesser (Mike), Sophie of Kirkwood, MO and Justin Shaw of Washington, DC; his grandchildren, Madison and Elias Shaw of Carterville; and his siblings, Ken Shaw of Carbondale and Linda Martin of Elkville. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make memorials to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
