She was predeceased by : her parents, Carl Coffel and Ethel Coffel (Clark); and her sisters, Sarah Pere, Annabell Satterfield and Fleta Stephens.

She is survived by : her husband Gerald D. Piper; her children, Gerald D. "Toog" Piper, Jr. (Lonnie) of Oklahoma City, OK, Kevin Piper (Marilyn) of Elkville and Tish McDermott (James) of Apex, NC; her brother Donnie Coffel of Joliet, IL; her grandchildren, Leigh (Russ Reidelberger), Opie (Shaneille Piper), Mindy (Tarik Swenson) and Dax (Lauren Piper); and her great grandchildren, Zoey Swenson, Cooper Swenson, Parley Belle Piper, Kallahan Piper and Oakes Piper.
