She is survived by : her husband Steve Maurer; her children, Dawn Taitt (Troy Taitt) and Larry Johnston Jr.; her stepchildren, Amy Sadler and Jon Maurer; her granddaughter Lauren Taitt; her stepgrandchildren, Diesel, Memphis, Alliyah, Drake, Avery, Nick, Hunter, Zane and Clayton; and her sisters, Leta Bigler, Janice Bias and Luann Noble.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
