He was predeceased by: his grandson Nicholas Criter; and his siblings, Sue Szewczyk and Marty Szewczyk (Debbie). He is survived by: his children, Debby Criter (David), Joe DeTomaso (Michelle), Becky Brady (Jim) and Jimmy DeTomaso (late Dionne); and his grandchildren, David Ryan Criter, Maddy Criter, Adam Criter, Katlyn Heneghan, Molly Heneghan, Abby Heneghan, Austin Luebke, Dylan Luebke and Dominic DeTomaso.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home (435 N York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A prayer will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Mary Queen of Heaven Church (426 West Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
