We bid farewell to Grace Ann Simonaitis of Elmhurst, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 16, 2025 at the age of 87. Grace Ann touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Dr. John Jr.; her father William (Stephanie); and her brother Charles Gozder (Geraldine). She is survived by: her children, Mary Sanders (Thomas Jr), Ann LeRose (JimYarbrough), Susan of John, III., Alice Miller (Steve), Diane and William Simonaitis (Kathleen); her grandchildren, Claude LeRose (Emily), Catherine Hoffner (Slaton), David Nelson, Kate Sanders, Patrick Simonaitis, Ruth Moore (Scott), Bennett Sanders (Jordan), Carly, Parker, William Simonaitis, Luke Sanders, Tyler and Nicholas Miller; her great grandchildren, Graham, Hudson LeRose, Henry, Harrison Hoffner and Elliott Sanders; and her brother Paul Gozder (late Christine).
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 8:00 AM at the Gibbons Funeral Home (134 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Visitation Catholic Church (779 S York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
