He was predeceased by: his sister Kayhan Hellriegel (Dan); his parents, Mohammad Rafiei and Manijeh Rodbayat; and his sister Mavesh. He is survived by: his wife Stephanie; his children, Damon Rafiei (Nicole) and Noel Rafiei (David Whitty); his grandchildren, Ava Rafiei and Riley Whitty; and his siblings, Dariush Rafiei (Shahpar), Shawn Rafie (Janice), Mahvash Rafiei (Ardalan), Nahid Rafiei (Cyrus) and Hossein Rafiei (April). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
