It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nona Ruth Wharton (Elmhurst, Illinois), who passed away on November 15, 2021, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur B. Ford and Nora A. Ford; her husband Earl Dyer Wharton; and her daughters, Bonnie Shaw and Virginia Geck.
She is survived by: her son-in-law Kenneth Shaw (Judy Cork); her siblings, Bruce Ford, Evelyn Glover and Kenneth Ford; her grandchildren, Laura Shaw (Mike Smith), Donna Shaw, Mary Geck Francis, Joshua Geck and Christopher Geck; and her siblings' children, Lisa Butterbaugh (Steven) and Michael Ford (Caroline). She is also survived by great-grandchildren; and many cherished extended family and friends.
