Leona G. Benak Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Leona G. Benak in Elmwood Park, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 9, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Debbie Clark (Drew Sr.), Tom Benak (Catherine) and Joseph R. Benak (Margie); her brother Richard J. Ranicke (Maxine); and her grandchildren, Samantha, Joseph Jr. (Margie), Courtney, Drew Jr. and Summer.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pedersen Ryberg Funeral Home (435 N York St, Elmhurst, IL 60126). A celebration of life will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Mount Emblem Cemetery (520 E Grand Ave, Elmhurst, IL 60126).
