It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert M. Craven (Elwood, Illinois), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on August 6, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Stephen and Mary; and his daughter Patricia Genardo. He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Craven; his son William Craven (Patricia); his grandchildren, Jenell Genardo, Jorie Kulczak (Keith), Wendy Craven, John Genardo and Rob Craven (Kelly); and his great grandchildren, Abigail, Brooke, Jackson, Allison, Ava, Tessa, Everly, Mallory and Samantha.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Moraine Valley Church (6300 W 127th St, Palos Heights, IL 60463). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 1:45 PM. The military honors will be held on Monday, August 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery (20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421).
