He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John R. Streit and Helen Streit (Tuffentsamer); his wife Kathleen Allen; his children, Melinda Grimm (Joel) of Morton and John Streit II (Shelli) of Eureka; his grandchildren, Andrew, Emily, Laura, Bethany and Julia; and his sister Judy Burge (Daniel) of Morton.
