It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Cox of Fairbury, Illinois, born in Strawn, Illinois, who passed away on November 27, 2021, at the age of 103, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Andrew Koehl and Martha Koehl (Zimmerman); and her husband Wayne Cox. She is survived by : her daughters, Gloria Ebach (Lyle) of Fairbury and Gail Kafer (Kenneth) of Fairbury; her grandchildren, Jennifer Dierkes (Doug) of Bloomington, Gretchen Sitman (Jim) of Carol Stream, Kent Kafer (Amy) of Fairbury, Kevin Kafer (April) of Fairbury and Courtney Farrell (Mark) of Fairbury; her sister Velda Huette of Fairbury; and her sisters-in-law, Gladys Koehl of Fairbury and Janita Koehl. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fairview Haven Retirement Community or SELCAS.
