She was predeceased by : her parents, Walter Hetherington and Lora Hetherington (Larkin); and her son Jim Lawrence. She is survived by : her husband Jack E. Lawrence; her children, Connie Haas (John) of Fairbury, Lance Lawrence (Debbie Hardesty) of Fairbury and Chip Lawrence of Fairbury; her sister Helen Leathers of Delavan, WI; her sisters-in-law, Betty J. Lawrence of Fairbury and Vicki Lawrence of Fairbury; her grandchildren, Chelsey Prendergast (Eric), McKenna Haas, Kody Haas (Callie), Zachary Lawrence (Raquel), Landon Lawrence (Bryce) and Dalton Lawrence; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Benjamin, Raelynn, Braxton, Brinlee, Maddox, Roux and Theo. She is also survived by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

The family suggest memorials be directed to the Tapestry of Love Ministry, Fairbury, American Diabetes Association or SELCAS of Fairbury.
