He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Anthony Castrovillo and Amelia Grosso Castrovillo; his children, Mark Castrovillo (Debra) of Sugar Grove, Thomas Castrovillo of Texas and Angela Proctor (John) of Farmer City; his stepson Bryan "BJ" Roberts of Farmer City; and his grandchildren, Aaron, Rachel Proctor, Matthew Castrovillo (Michelle) and Melissa Castrovillo-Garry (Shawn Garry). He was also cherished by three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army or Home Sweet Home Ministries, both in Bloomington.
