It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarellen Varnes of Farmington, Illinois, who passed away on May 30, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Clarellen Varnes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Dane and Clara Elizabeth Coots (Davis); and her husband Charles Arnold "Chuck" Varnes. She is survived by: her children, Sonja Whitehurst (Randy) of Hanna City, Debra Kohl of Canton, Chuck Varnes, Jr. (Kim) of Hanna City, Steve Varnes (Jessica) of Rock Island, Mike Varnes (Joyce) of Liberal and David Varnes (Angie) of Farmington; and also David Coots (Nancy) of Carmel, Indiana.. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 51 great-grandchildren; several great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davison-Fulton Bartonville Chapel (1203 W Garfield Ave, Bartonville, IL 61607). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
