It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Elizabeth Cender (Fisher, Illinois), who passed away on January 21, 2020, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurie Schaer and Inez Schaer (Heiser); her husband Bob Cender; and her son Maurie. She is survived by: her daughter Angie Beachey (Kenny); her grandchildren, Jessi Hurless (Tara) and Nathan Beachey (Ashley); her great grandchild Hazel Hurless; and her sister Ginny Oyer.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be given to East Bend Mennonite Church, P.O. Box 520, Fisher, IL 61843.
