He was predeceased by: his parents, Benton Hatcher and Mary Kate Hatcher (Ledbetter); his daughters, Glenda and Sandy Hatcher; and his brothers, Leonard "Shorty" Hatcher and Johnny Hatcher.
He is survived by: his wife Sandra Hatcher of Flora; his children, Cathy Williams (Kyle Wheeler) of Flora, Phyllis Pearce (Dan Kaufmann) of Flora, Carrie Hatcher of Flora, Mary Reynolds (Scott) of Effingham, Jim Hatcher (Darlene) of Cisne, Jeff Hatcher (Kelly) of Cisne and Crystal Bailey of Cisne; his grandchildren, Jarin Pearce, Andrew Pearce, Mekenzie Wheeler, Devin Williams, Jeremy Hagen, Thomas Lewis, Lexi Hatcher, James McCracken, Tyler, Tom Hatcher, Jessie Hatcher, Andy and Johnna Bailey; and his sister Lois Fritz of Knoxville. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations may be given to the family to assist with expenses.
