He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Fitzgerald and Eva Fitzgerald (Justice); his son-in-law John Murbarger; his great grandchild Brody Barksdale; and his siblings, Marie Arbuckle, Harold Fitzgerald, Shirley Campo, Jerry Fitzgerald and Donald Fitzgerald.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Fitzgerald of Flora; his daughters, Becky Murbarger of Flora, Tanya Prather (James) of Flora and Belinda Cook of Flora; his grandchildren, Tricia Murbarger, Kyle Murbarger (Brandy), Jamie Barksdale (Korey), John Hayes (Heather) and Cassie Hall; his great grandchildren, Zoe, Sawyer, Landen Murbarger, Garrett Barksdale, Matthew Hayes and Lucas Hayes; and his siblings, Bonnie McCracken, Tom Fitzgerald, Norma Clifton and Harriett Erwin. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations are suggested to Disabled American Veterans and will be accepted through the funeral home.
