Erma Ruth Duitsman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Erma Ruth Duitsman of Forreston, Illinois, who passed away on July 27, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schmitt and Margaret Schmitt (Korf); her husband Bob; her daughter Carol Gravenstein; and her siblings, Melvin Schmitt and Pauline Krum.
She is survived by: her daughter Diane Duitsman of Forreston; her son-in-law Allan Gravenstein of Shannon; her grandchildren, Jennifer Ruzicka (Jim) of Kildeer, IL, Amy Cahill (Ron) of Winfield, IL and Jeremy Gravenstein (Janesa) of Forreston; and her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Jacob Ruzicka, Connor, Nicholas Cahill and Rhett Gravenstein.
A memorial has been established in Erma's name for Forreston Grove Church, Mercy Health Hospice, or charity of donor's choice, which may be sent to Burke Tubbs Funeral Home in Freeport.
