He was predeceased by : his father James; and his brother Joseph. He is survived by : his wife Michelle (Akins); his children, Samantha, John Jr. and Jolene; his siblings, Lisa Bolek (Ronald), Denise Gagliano and Jim Gagliano (Dawn); his brothers-in-law, John Akins (Janice) and Timothy Akins (Alena); his mother Nancy Gagliano; and his parents-in-law, John and Judi Akins. He is also survived by 10 nieces and 9 nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
