She was predeceased by: her parents, John Durkin and Dorothy Durkin (Ambrose); and her sister Mary Ellen Spencer. She is survived by: her husband Warner Blumenthal; her children, Sheryl Marschke (Dan) and Kenneth Blumenthal (Rachelle); her sister Patricia McGovern (Michael); her grandchildren, Jason, Jessica, Ashley, Cody and Austin; her great grandchildren, Jadyn, Jakob, Grace, Ella, Jack and Colin; and her stepgrandsons, Sean and Patrick. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the South Suburban Humane Society or St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital would be appreciated.
