He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Hakes and Jean Hakes; his wife Janice; his children, David Hakes, Tammy Ciesla (Bob) and Beth Allen (Dave); his grandchildren, Joseph Ciesla, Nicholas Ciesla, Lauren Neiswender (Ryan), Thomas Ciesla, Mallory Hakes, Adeline Hakes, Hannah Hakes, Erika Nied, Jamie Nied, Honor Allen and Echo Allen; and his siblings, Robert Hakes (Marge), Theresa Kasperas (late Ray) and Jimmy McNicholas. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
