With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joan Opyt Romanus (Frankfort, Illinois), who passed away on February 25, 2020 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Opyt and Jospehine Opyt; and her siblings, Phyllis Kabat and Tom Opyt. She is survived by: her husband Dr. Raymond Romanus; her children, Mary Beth Horton (Dwayne), Kathleen Anne Schaddel and John Thomas Romanus; her sister Alice Kozdras (Richard); and her siblings-in-law, Karen Opyt and Robert Kabat.
