He is survived by: his brother Paul of Lexington, KY; his children, Susan Meiss (Trang) of Normal, IL, Vietnam, Alan Mostert (Julie) of Melbourne, FL, Mark Mostert (Nancy) of Monee, IL, Ruth Pellegrini (Don) of Steger, IL, Tim Mostert (Natania) and Pretoria; his foster daughter Mary Burr (Kevin) of Mountain Home, AR; and his pet April Patches. He is also survived by 31 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, his dear brothers and sisters.
