We bid farewell to John Stanley Skarbek Jr. of Frankfort, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on December 3, 2025 at the age of 77. John Stanley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, John S. Skarbek, Sr. and Anne M. Skarbek (Przybylski); his aunt Clara Przybylski (Kai); and his nephew Scott Skarbek. He is survived by: his children, Jeannine (Skarbek-Kubas), Valerie and David (Skarbek); his grandchildren, Alexia, Antonia and Anasofia Kubas; his brothers, Joseph Skarbek, Thomas Skarbek (Susan) and Robert Skarbek (Laura); and his pets, Collies Dino, Rocky, Prince, Cocker Spaniel Rusty, English Cream and Duke. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kurtz Memorial Chapel (65 Old Frankfort Way, Frankfort, IL 60423). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 9:10 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, December 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (19515 115th Ave, Mokena, IL 60448).
